Microscopic transport modelling

With the help of PTV Vissim, we create transport models of intersections and street networks. We survey the geographic scope, identify key intersections, create “no project” and “with project” scenarios and analyze the results of model simulations. We offer optimization measures in accordance with the relevant regulatory documents.

The quality of the traffic data used in the simulation is extremely important for the accurateness of the analysis. We collect data by installing video cameras that can record the passage of all road users – pedestrians, cyclists, light and heavy vehicles, buses, trams. Video recordings are processed with specialized software that recognizes and tracks the movement of objects in the picture. As a result, we get the trajectories of all road users. This method of counting allows for quick results, with an accuracy rate of over 95%.
