Transport modeling at the micro level

With the help of PTV Vissim, we create transport models of intersections and street networks in the area of ​​influence of a given project. We survey the geographic scope, identify key intersections, have our engineering team perform traffic counts, create “no project” and “with project” scenarios with PTV Vissim and analyze the results of model simulations. We offer optimization measures in accordance with regulatory documents.
The quality of the traffic data used in the simulation is extremely important to the correctness of the analysis. We collect data by installing video cameras that can record the passage of all road users – pedestrians, cyclists, light and heavy vehicles, buses, trams.
Video recordings are processed with specialized software that recognizes and tracks the movement of objects in the picture. As a result, we get the trajectories of all road users. This method of counting allows quick results, with an accuracy of over 95%.
