Modeling of the planned infrastructure in a new residential complex (10,000 inhabitants, area 158,000 m2)

The aim of the project was to plan the best possible internal road and pedestrian infrastructure in a new residential complex in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. Activities performed:
– Development of a pedestrian traffic model using PTV Viswalk to determine the main flows
– Development of a vehicle movement model using PTV Vissim
– Recommendations for engineering solutions to optimize internal infrastructure
