Botevgradsko shose interchange is important element of the transport infrastructure in the city of Sofia. It ensures connectivity between the city, Sofia Ring Road and Hemus highway. Currently, the interchange is characterised by congestion and in this regard, Bulgaria’s Road Infrastructure Agency has investment plans for its reconstruction.

In this context, Infra City Consult is conducting a study with the following main tasks:

• Analysis of the existing road safety situation
• Formulating alternatives to improve road safety and analysis of their potential impact
• Cost-benefit analysis of the proposed alternatives and selection of preferred alternative
