The purpose of this study was to analyse infrastructure alternatives to reduce traffic between residential areas in Klaipeda district (Lithuania) and the city. Under this assignment, we carried out the following specific tasks:

• Elaborated macroscopic private transport model with PTV Visum
• Conducted a series of microscopic simulations on several key intersections with PTV Vissim
• Formulated and evaluated scenarios for new infrastructure initiatives to reach the objective of the project
